Hi, I'm Janie!

Hi! I'm Janie, and I created Fitness Forward because I know how it feels when your health is the LAST thing on your list of priorities. I know how it feels to be tired, frustrated and overwhelmed from not knowing what your body needs, or how to begin the process of eating healthy and working out. 


5 years ago, I was full of doubt. I missed being proud of my body. I didn’t know how to stop binge eating. I needed to lose 25 pounds. I was struggling and I didn’t know if I could do it.  


Fast forward to 2020, now I’m a personal trainer, yoga instructor, pre/postnatal yoga teacher and a nutrition coach. Over the past 5 years I’ve studied and learned about health and fitness, so that I can help women who are like 2015 Janie. Women who don’t feel motivated to start on their own. Women who need support and encouragement. Women who want to feel confident with the woman they see in the mirror. 


I specialize in educating and empowering women. I provide the support and education you need to reach your fitness goals. I believe in you. You CAN do this.
